The language preference is saved when you choose a language. Without a saved choice, the Website checks your primary browser language and falls back to English if it is unsupported. Clearing this item resets your saved choice.
The Google cookies use the default two-year setting, subject to browser limits. The session cookie follows the _ga_<container-id> naming pattern; the name above follows the measurement ID configured on this Website. Provider settings or browser behaviour can affect storage. Cookie lifetime is separate from the retention of information already sent to Google.
03Analytics and infrastructure settings
Google Analytics helps us understand visits and Website usage. When its tag runs, your browser can send page, device, connection and identifier information to Google. Details of personal-data processing are in our Privacy Policy.
The Website uses one Google Analytics tag. Enhanced measurement is enabled for page views, including changes in browser history, scrolls, outbound link clicks, site searches, form interactions, embedded video engagement and file downloads. These events are collected when the relevant content and interactions are present and supported. Collection of city-level location and detailed browser and device information is enabled in all regions available in the property settings.
The current Google Analytics configuration sets event-data retention to two months and user-data retention to fourteen months. Google also applies the user-data retention period to key-event data. The user-identifier retention period restarts with new activity, so recurring visits can extend it. Google removes expired data in its monthly deletion process. These settings do not limit retention of standard aggregated reports and are separate from the cookie lifetimes in section 2.
Google Signals and user-provided data collection are disabled. The property has no links to Google Ads or BigQuery, and the Website stream has no additional connected site tags. The Website code has no separate Google Ads or advertising-pixel integration. Advertising personalisation is allowed in all regions available in the property settings. This permission alone does not establish a connection to an advertising account.
At account level, sharing for Google products and services is disabled. Sharing for modelling contributions and business insights, technical support, and recommendations for our business is enabled. Modelling uses aggregated and de-identified measurement data; technical support may access Analytics data to resolve issues. Business recommendations use Analytics account information, including configuration and account-use information. Google also processes data as necessary to provide, maintain and protect Analytics.
The informational landing uses DigitalOcean's standard CDN, which delivers content and provides security through Cloudflare. The __cf_bm cookie in section 2 supports protection against automated traffic; its purpose is website security, not Google Analytics or advertising. Public page files may also be cached by your browser according to HTTP cache headers. CDN caching stores copies of public files on delivery servers and is separate from cookies placed in your browser. Other Remoqa services do not use this CDN.
04Your choices
In the current Website, the Google Analytics tag loads as a page opens, including the legal pages. There is currently no on-site accept, refuse or withdraw control and no stored analytics-consent choice. Where prior consent is required, the tag must not run before that choice; this draft describes the current behaviour and does not represent it as an implemented consent system.
Where consent is the legal basis, it must be freely given and can be withdrawn. Merely reading this policy, accepting Website terms or continuing to browse does not itself provide that consent.
Your browser settings can block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Controls and names vary between browsers. Removing remoqa.language clears your saved language choice. Removing remoqa.scamWarningDismissedUntil allows the warning to appear again on your next homepage visit. The Website's language selector and informational content do not depend on Google Analytics.
Clearing existing cookies does not delete information already sent to a provider and does not by itself prevent future analytics requests. Google also provides an analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. It applies to the browser in which it is installed and does not replace any consent choices that the Website is legally required to provide.
05Providers and international processing
DigitalOcean provides the Website's hosting and CDN, Cloudflare provides delivery and security within that CDN, and Google provides analytics. Cloudflare operates a global network and states that cookie data may be processed in the United States. The Privacy Policy at remoqa.com/privacy describes the relevant recipients, processing locations and international transfers. A first-party cookie does not mean that the resulting information is processed only by Remoqa or only in your country.

06Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Website or its storage technologies. The effective date identifies the current version. Where a new use requires consent, that consent must be obtained before the relevant processing begins.
